Isaac was born just last Friday. He was a few weeks early, but born at a healthy weight of 5 pounds, 15 ounces. He was a dream to work with. He slept soundly through the first half of our session and let me prod and mold him as I wished. If you are thinking of scheduling a newborn session, this is why the first week of life is the best!

We probably could have convinced him to go back to sleep for the second half, but I was enjoying taking photos of his eyes. Plus babies make the funniest faces when they are awake!

Congratulations to new parents Aaron and Shana!

Scout was born less than two weeks after her mom’s maternity session! I made the trek down to Estill Springs last weekend to capture these sweet images of her.

What a gorgeous family!

How awesome does Holly look for being 38 weeks into her pregnancy? The day after we did this session, Holly texted me that her doctor said she was already 4cm dilated, so we went ahead and scheduled a newborn session for the following weekend. However, baby Scout decided to take her time, so we had to reschedule. Nonetheless, I put her session on the fast-track, so I’ll be able to do her maternity preview when I travel down to see Scout next Sunday, who was born just yesterday!

Isn’t the nursery adorable?

Don’t worry, Chipper, we won’t forget about you!

I can’t wait to meet Scout!

Sabrina and I have been best friends since middle school, so you can understand how sad I was when she moved away to live with her husband, who is in the coast guard. I usually get to see her at least once a year, and this time I got to take photos of her adorable kids! Kaleb is almost three, and Noah is just shy of six months. They both have the cutest, pinchable cheeks!

Even though Kaleb is not very sure of his new big-brother role, we did manage to bribe him into taking some photos with his little bro. Don’t you just want to kiss those lovable cheeks?

I miss you already, Brina!
